France under $15 Wine Tasting (Clarksville Location)

Mar 7th, 2014

Join us on March 7th from 5-8 PM at our Clarksville location as we host what should be a fun and learning wine tasting.  This week we are featuring 5 different wines from France, and all are priced under $15 per bottle.  This will be a great chance to sample and learn about some fantastic French wines and take home some great bargains as well.

Here is the lineup:

Chateau Mourgues du Gres - Les Galets Dores

Light yellow with golden tints, the wine has citrus flavors mingled with floral aromas (orchid) and a mineral finish. The wine is crisp, fresh and full, the perfect balance between fruit and smooth texture.

Domaine de Pajot - Les Quatre Cepages

A blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Colombard, Ugni Blanc, and Gros Manseng, it delivers a pleasant rush of citrus and melon carried atop a vibrant beam of ripe acidity.

Moulin de Gassac - Guilhem Blanc

A Grenache Blanc blend, this shows a limpid, straw-yellow color, with a delicate, pretty nose of acacia and pear and a mid-weight, harmonious palate of lemon, dill and green olive.

Chateau Mas Neuf - Rhone Paradox Rouge

Dark, bright, garnet red. On the nose, notes of dark berries (blackcurrant, blackberry), pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg and bay leaf predominate. Gentle entry, full on the palate with a velvety, fresh finish.

Domaine la Guintrandy - Saint-Leger Vin de Pays

A medium-bodied red that possesses jammy red fruits, expressive notes of pepper, tobacco and roasted meats, and a juicy, vibrant finish.

This tasting is free and open to the public (21 and older)
