BBC Beer Tasting, March 26 from 5 - 8 PM
Join us as our good friends from the Clay and Main
BBC brewery stop in for our monthly beer tasting. We are featuring
several special brews from them on top of their regular lineup.
Here's what we're tasting:

BBC Nut Brown Ale: Brewed with
a blend of six different malts to give a medium-full body and a
nutty after taste.
BBC Dark Star Porter: A subtle hint
of chocolate malt flavor finds its way through this very dark ale.
Dark Star Porter is named after the 1953 Kentucky Derby Winner.
BBC American Pale Ale : Rich, copper
colored ale that features full-bodied hoppy flavor supported by
generous amounts of malt.
BBC Hell for Certain : This higher
alcohol (7.5%) beer is brewed with Belgian malt and yeast and
spiced with coriander, sweet orange peel, and an additional secret
spice. This beer is a full-bodied amber ale, with a big malt body
balanced by it's spices.
BBC Dank IPA : American-Style India
pale ale that is characterized by intense hop bitterness and high
alcohol content. A massive amount of American hops are added,
resulting in a crisp, dry beer. Dank is deep gold in color with a
full, flowery hop aroma and a strong hop flavor (in addition to
the hop bitterness). India pale ale has a medium malt flavor and
body. By the way, an 8.5% ABV, and 75 IBU don't hurt either.
BBC Jefferson Reserve Bourbon-Barrel Stout:
Delicately aged in "2005 Bourbon of the Year"
Jefferson's Reserve barrels for approximately 60 days. The malt
sweetness is perfectly balanced by the roast barley and a nice
hint of bourbon flavor and aroma.
This event is free and open to the public (21
and older of course).
