Frequently Asked Questions:
What is the Fest of Ale? It is a charity beer festival to help raise funds for the WHAS Crusade for Children. Last year we raised $3500 for the Crusade, and of course look to increase that donation amount this year. Funds are raised through ticket sales for the event and through our silent auction.
Where is the festival held? The festival is held at St. Anthony's of Padua in Clarksville, IN. The address is 320
North Sherwood Avenue, Clarksville,
Indiana 47129-2798.
How do I get there?

How much are tickets? Tickets for the Fest of Ale are $25 in advance, and $30 the day of the event. Tickets can be purchased at Keg Liquors, New Albanian Brewing Company, the BBC Tap Room and online. If you are purchasing tickets at the event, please note that we cannot take credit cards at the festival. You can always stop by the store the day of the event and pay with a credit card there.
What about designated drivers? Designated drivers are highly encouraged. They get into the festival for free, but do not get to sample any of the beer or wine at the event. If you need a taxi, go to any of the volunteers at the event and we will call a taxi for you.
How much can I drink at the festival? This is NOT a “drink as much as you can in 4 hours” event. Anyone who appears to be intoxicated will be denied additional samples and may be deemed to be in violation of public intoxication statutes. Enjoy what you wish, but please be responsible.
How long is the festival? The festival runs from 3pm to 7pm. Our permit does not allow any pouring after 7pm. Please do not beg, plead, coax, implore, beseech, wheedle, or cajole for more beer.
Do you need volunteers? Every festival needs knowledgeable volunteers for setup, pouring, silent auction, etc. Please contact us at 812-283-3988 to volunteer.
What about children or animals? The event is for 21 and older, so please leave your children at home. Please also leave your pets at home. A beer festival is no place for Fido!
Will there be food available? The St. Anthony's mens group will be on hand selling food and soft drinks (and water). All proceeds from their sales goes to the St. Anthony's scholarship fund.
