Grand Cru, or special vintage ale, was originally brewed in small quantities in Belgium for special occasions such as celebrations, festivals and weddings. Celis Grand Cru is brewed according to a traditional recipe and uses pale barley malts, Saaz and Cascade hops, Curacao orange peel and select spices.

Bottled by the fine folks at BBC on Shelbyville Road, this is a very hoppy Barleywine.

An unfiltered, unfettered, unprecedented brown ale aged in handmade wooden brewing vessels. Brewed to a colossal 45-degree plato, boiled for a full 2 hours while being continuously hopped with high-alpha American hops, then dry-hopped daily in the fermenter for a month & aged for nother month on whole-leaf hops!!! Our 120 Minute I.P.A. is by far the biggest I.P.A. ever brewed! At 20% abv and 120 ibus you can see why we call this beer THE HOLY GRAIL for hopheads!

Consider it an extremely hoppy Barleywine, or a really big IPA. Either way, ten hop additions contribute to its lush and intriguing body. Aggressive dry-hopping brings a strong citrus character to the aroma. The flavor and smell of orange-blossoms pervade throughout the experience.
Ingredience:Water,Barley(200 pounds per barrel of American-grown malted barley),Hops(10 hop-strikes, totaling 17 ounces per barrel of American-grown hops) and yeast (it is what it is).
